Residents living in some parts of the UK have been told to consider leaving their homes and staying with friends and family, as flood waters breach record levels.

All along the River Trent in Nottinghamshire, homes and businesses are submerged.

Visiting the scene earlier, local MP Robert Jenrick described the scenes to Sky News as "biblical".
