Residents evacuated from Bristol tower block after 'risk to structure' identified

A major incident has been declared in Bristol after residents of a tower block were told to leave their homes due to a "risk to the structure".

The city council has asked all tenants at Barton House, in the Redfield area, to leave "as a precautionary measure" while more in-depth inspections are carried out.

Speaking to Sky's Lisa Dowd, one resident said he does not believe any of the 400 inhabitants will ever be able to return.
