Harriet Wistrich, Director of Centre for Women' Justice, has told Sky News anyone who comes forward and reports being violated is "doing it for courageous reasons" and because they don't want the person responsible to "hurt somebody else."

A new progress report has been published as so-called Operation Soteria has been implemented across all 43 police forces in England and Wales to try to transform the response of police and prosecutors to rape and serious sexual offences.
