A man who threw eggs towards the King has said it "was worth it".

Patrick Thelwell was arrested last November after he shouted "the King is a paedophile" and threw "at least five" eggs towards King Charles during a walkabout in York last year.

Speaking to Sky News, Mr Thelwell said he will "continue advocating for a democratic confederation" and that he believed if "that is what it took to get this platform, then it was worth it."
