Princess of Wales has got competitive with Kelly Holmes, giving encouragement to a young girl on visit to Bath.

The royal popped into the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust, which supports young people facing adversity with coaching and mentoring.

She was heard telling one budding writer "any ideas you have, write it!".

She was joined on her visit by former Olympian Kelly Holmes and reality TV star Zara McDermott.
