A Conservative MP accused of sexual harassment and drug abuse has resigned - triggering a by-election in his Somerton and Frome constituency.

His departure means Rishi Sunak will face a fourth by-election after Boris Johnson and two of his allies, Nadine Dorries and Nigel Adams, announced they were resigning just over a week ago.
