Vladimir Putin will deliver his annual state of the nation address to both houses of the Russian parliament today.

It comes just over two weeks before a presidential election which is all but certain to hand him another six-year term.

According to Russian news agency RIA, the address is set to be screened at cinemas in 17 Russian cities.
