The car suspected of dragging a Philadelphia highway patrol officer 200 feet during a traffic stop has been found as authorities continue to search for the driver.

Our team at FOX 29 Philadelphia reported that police found and towed the unoccupied Tesla. Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small told reporters he's "pretty confident" they will make an arrest soon since they know the driver's last known address.

The officer who was dragged by the car is recovering from scrapes and bruises. The officer pulled over the driver for a traffic violation and noticed a handgun on the floor of the car. When the officer attempted to grab the weapon, the car drove in reverse, dragging the officer 200 feet, according to police.
