California Highway Patrol successfully deployed a spike strip before a police cruise used a PIT maneuver to bring a pursuit suspect to a stop.
The slow-moving pursuit started in south Orange County and continued into the San Fernando Valley, with the driver usually staying under 50mph.
Following the PIT maneuver, the driver refused to comply with police and exit the vehicle. Officers eventually shot pepper balls at the car, but the driver remained in the car.
