Sky News has witnessed patients returning to Gaza's al Shifa hospital, weeks after Israel forced patients out and arrested some members of staff.

The IDF had claimed that tunnels under the building were being used by Hamas as a hub for its operations. However, the evidence for that has been disputed.

Meanwhile, Israel has told civilians to flee central Khan Younis as IDF and Hamas fighters clash in the southern Gazan city.

Israel says there has also been heavy fighting in Gaza City, where it is attempting to uncover Hamas tunnels.
