Nigel Farage said he decided to make a "discreet exit" after police shut down the National Conservativism Conference in Brussels.

Police said the city's district mayor had made the decision to close the event, which featured the likes of Mr Farage, former UK home secretary Suella Braverman and Hungary's leader Viktor Orban.

Mr Farage said he was being "cancelled" because of Brexit.
