Net zero rollback: PM 'undeterred' by resistance to his plans

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was asked about MPs submitting letters of no confidence in his leadership, as well as a furious statement from Commons Speaker Lindsay Hoyle who said he would recall parliament if he had the power.

The Speaker cited his reason being that a "major policy shift", such as the rolling back of net zero policies, should be announced in parliament where MPs can scrutinise it.

But Mr Sunak replied saying he was "undeterred" by resistance to his plans.
