Shadow chief secretary to the Treasury Darren Jones has accused the government of being in "complete chaos" after a leak suggested ministers were considering weakening some of their green pledges.

Home Secretary Suella Braverman earlier told Sky News "we're not going to save the planet by bankrupting the British people" in response to the leak.

Asked if Labour was committed to net zero before 2030, Mr Jones insisted Labour had a "very clear policy" on achieving that.
