Police in Alabama say they cannot verify Carlee Russell's claims. The missing Alabama woman said she was abducted on an interstate before being found safe.
Police said there were several problematic searches on Carlee's phone, including Amber Alert facts and internet search results in the days leading up to when she was reported missing.
“She claims he then forced her into a car, and the next thing she remembers is being in the trailer of an 18-wheeler,” Hoover, AL Police Chief Nick Derzis said.
