The dog and couple responsible for the capture of escaped murder suspect Michael Burham were rewarded $2,000 for their efforts.

Ron and Cynthia Ecklund called police after their dog, Tucker, began barking at Burham.

The Ecklunds said in addition to the cash reward, Tucker will also get a steak dinner.

"He got a new collar today, we bought a bucket of tennis balls so that's probably a years worth of tennis balls... and their is a ribeye steak waiting for him in the fridge when this is all over," Cynthia Ecklund said.

The Warren County, PA district attorney also provided new details on Burham's capture. He is charged with felony escape, as of right now, Burham is the only person charged in his escape.

"At this time, there are no other individuals-- inmates, staff at the Warren County Jail or others-- who have been criminally charged regarding the escape," Warren County DA Robert Greene said.

"However, we have received reports from the city of Warren police department. In those reports, there was information that could possibly implicate inmates at the Warren County Jail and could possibly-- and I emphasize possibly-- implicate staff members at the Warren County Jail and possibly others," Greene added.
