For one weekend in June, Major League Baseball took over London. The St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs split a two-game series in front of 110,000 fans, but that’s far from the full story.

Four years after the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox made history with the first MLB series played on European soil, the Cardinals and Cubs wrote another chapter in the event's Old Rivalry, New Ground theme. After an 18-day transformation from soccer ground to ballpark, the London Stadium played host to a pair of pulsating match-ups, with the Justin Steele-inspired Cubs running out 9-1 winners in Game 1, before the Cardinals rode a stunning comeback to take Game 2, 7-5.

Across town at one of the city’s most iconic landmarks, MLB Home Run Derby X: The Cage took center stage at the ‘MLB London Series Trafalgar Square Takeover’. MLB Legends teamed up with Softball Superstars and Local Heroes to hit dingers against a backdrop like no other, kickstarting a weekend-long fan festival like no other.
