A worried mother has told NBC News that she 'heard nothing' from the police and her son, who was at Schemengees Bar in Lewiston at the time of a mass shooting.

A police source told NBC News at least 22 people are dead and as many as 50-60 injured - which would make it the deadliest shooting in the US this year.
