The so-called "cult mom" Lori Vallow is set to stand trial for the October 2019 murders of her two children and her husband's ex-wife on April 3.

Before the trial begins, Vallow's defense is trying to cite adoption laws to say that JJ Vallow's biological grandmother, is legally considered his aunt. During a hearing, Lori’s lawyer Jim Archibald says an aunt should not qualify as a statutory victim. Biologically Kay is JJ’s grandma. Legally, the defense says she’s not. Full hearing link below.
