Former Foreign Secretary Lord Hammond has told Sky News it’s “no surprise” that China is allegedly spying on the UK, but he stressed it’s not appropriate to cut ties with Beijing.

The former Chancellor also told us the government was “too generous, for too long” during the COVID crisis.
