Los Angeles County Sheriffs held a press conference after video surfaced of a deputy slamming a woman to the ground outside a grocery store in Lancaster, California.

In the video that shows the confrontation between the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies and the woman, you can see the deputy throw her to the ground and pepper-spray her face.

LA County Sheriff says its opened an use-of-force investigation. Deputies were called to the WinCo grocery store after an alleged shoplifting incident.
