The Texas Senate has voted to acquit Texas Attorney General, Ken Paxton on all 16 impeachment articles against him.
Deliberations began Friday in Paxton's impeachment trial and the verdict would determine whether the Republican was removed from office over charges of bribery and corruption. One conviction would have meant Paxton was removed from office.
The jury was made up of 30 state Senators, most of which were Republicans.
Following Paxton's acquittal, former federal prosecutor Paul Coggins joined LiveNOW from FOX's Josh Breslow to discuss the verdict.
