Justice Secretary, Alex Chalk MP, has blocked the automatic early release of a man who killed his wife with a hammer.

British Airways captain Robert Brown bludgeoned 46-year-old Joanna Simpson to death in 2010, but was due for early release in November after serving half of his sentence.
