Laurence Fox has criticised GB News, calling the broadcaster "GB joke", and spoken of his relief that he has been sacked.

The actor and political activist told Sky News he discovered he had been fired while in a police station following his arrest.

He was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit criminal damage to ULEZ cameras.
