31 premature infants are being taken to safety this morning after Israeli Defense Forces secured the area round Gaza's largest hospital. Fighting has broken out around the Indonesian Hospital, another medical facility in Northern Gaza. Hamas claims 12 people died after the hospital was struck by Israeli artillery, no independent agency has verified that claim at this time.
American is in mourning today after former first lady Rosalynn Carter passed away over the weekend, she was 96 years old. Her husband, former president Jimmy Carter, remains in hospice care this morning.
