Live from southern Israel, near the border with Gaza, with a view of the Gaza skyline.

Today marks the 100th day of the Israel-Hamas conflict, which erupted on 7 October after Hamas launched its deadly attack on Israel.

Since then, Israel has hit the Gaza Strip with airstrikes and a ground offensive that have wrought unprecedented destruction, flattening entire neighbourhoods.

In Tel Aviv, families of hostages being held by Hamas are staging a 24-hour rally, urging the Israeli government to bring them home.

???? David Cameron, the UK's foreign secretary, defended the strikes on Yemen, saying they sent an "unambiguous message" to the Houthis
???? The Israeli military released footage it claimed showed members of the elite Multidimensional Unit operating in Gaza for the first time

???? The Houthis vowed to conduct a "strong and effective response" to the US strikes
