Former Israeli ambassador to the UN, Dan Gillerman, argues that all of the past, present and future civilian casualties in Gaza are 'casualties of Hamas' due to the organisations use of people as 'human shields'.

Mr Gillerman said that it was a war crime to deliberately place innocent people in harm's war knowing that they could be hurt, and that Israel was doing 'everything possible' to avoid civilian casualties.
