Staff Sergeant Lavi Lifschitz was killed in action on Tuesday, the IDF said. At his funeral in Jerusalem, fellow soldiers appeared stunned by what their country is going through.

Sky's Cordelia Lynch attended the funeral of Mr Lifschitz where his friend who served alongside him wept as he looked haunted by the gravity of the moment.
