The Hamas-led health ministry in Gaza announced yesterday that al Shifa hospital's last generator had run out of fuel.

Speaking to Sky News, IDF spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Richard Hecht said the military is in contact with al Shifa hospital and is trying to solve the issue with fuel and the evacuations of babies.

"We understand the timeliness of this and we are working very hard to try to coordinate this effort. There'll be more information coming on that," he said.
