A week after Hamas penetrated into Israel murdering civilians, many focused on alleged "intelligence failures" of the Israeli army. The former head of the Israeli Defence Forces' Intelligence Research Division, Yosef Kuperwasser, has outlined what he believes were the main failures of Israel's intelligence.

Mr Kuperwasser has told Sky News the IDF had been 'complacent' after the 2021 Israel-Hamas war where Israel was thought to have managed to neutralize Hamas' military capability.
