A father whose wife and daughters were kidnapped by Hamas during last Saturday's attack has described the moment he found out they had been taken.

Yoni Asher said on the day of the attack he received a call from his wife telling him she was hiding in a safe room with their children and later saw a "nerve-racking" video on social media showing his wife and daughters getting kidnapped.

Yoni added: "My whole world is not with me and it's hard to stay hopeful. With each day that goes by my heart is disappearing".
