LIVE UPDATES: Israel's war with Hamas enters its 60th day. Israeli forces are moving farther south into Gaza this morning, now attacking the territory's second largest city, Khan Younis. Palestinians say they are running out of places to go as Israel continues warnings to evacuate Gazan cities. The Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Ministry says the death toll since the war began has risen to 15,890 people. Independent sources have not been able to confirm those numbers.

In its daily update, Israeli Defense Forces emphasized they are at war with Hamas and not the civilians living in Gaza.
