Israel resuming air strikes in Gaza this morning after hostilities were paused for 7 days to allow hostage releases. Israeli officials says Hamas still has at least 100 hostages left from those kidnapped during the attack on October 7. Israeli forces also dropped leaflets over southern Gaza urging residents there to leave their homes.

A hearing is scheduled in Georgia today in former President Trump's election interference trial. Trump's lawyers are asking for some of the indictments against the former president and three of his co-defendants to be thrown out today. Trump and 18 others were indicted on charges they worked to overturn Georgia's 2020 election results. Four co-defendants have already taken plea deals.

The House of Representatives is set to hold an expulsion for embattled Representative George Santos. This will be the third attempt to expel the controversial member of Congress. Santos faces a slew of allegations, including campaign finance abuse and identity theft.
