Sky News is the first UK news organisation to be taken into Gaza by the Israeli military since they started their offensive to destroy Hamas.

Local journalists have been reporting from within Gaza throughout the conflict however access to foreign reporters has been heavily restricted.

The IDF took a small number of journalists, including our Defence and Security Editor Deborah Haynes, inside the Gaza Strip.

Deborah's report is subject to Israeli military restrictions.
