Inflation: Bank of England 'completely misread the situation', says economist

Economist Dr Gerard Lyons has said "very poor monetary policy" was a key factor in the initial surge in inflation, claiming the Bank of England "completely misread the situation".

Dr Lyons also said that "you cannot blame people for seeking higher wages as inflation is now high."
