The Environment secretary, Therese Coffey told Sophy Ridge on Sunday, she is not going to "speculate" on migration figures which are expected to come out next week.

As reports suggest net migration could top a record-breaking 700,000 people Ms Coffey stressed that the main focus on the incumbent Tory government remains to '"tackle illegal immigration."
