Former U.S. President Donald Trump gave his first public reaction on Thursday to Joe Biden declaring he'll seek reelection, as the two men head for a potential rematch in 2024.

"We're going to beat him at the ballot box and we're going to settle our unfinished business," Trump declared.

Trump was speaking at a campaign event in Manchester, New Hampshire to an enthusiastic crowd of supporters.

He also riffed on changing nicknames for his political opponents, announcing he'll retire his use of 'crooked' for Hillary Clinton and give it to Biden instead.

The appearance at a downtown Manchester hotel, also marks his first return to an early voting state since his legal troubles increased. Earlier this month, he pleaded not guilty in New York to a 34-count felony indictment charging him with a scheme to bury allegations of extramarital affairs that arose during his first White House campaign.
