Hilary has made landfall in the Baja California Peninsula as a Tropical Storm with maximum sustained winds of 65 miles per hour.
The storm is expected to weaken further, but bring "catastrophic" flooding to areas of California, Nevada and Arizona, according to the National Hurricane Center.
