After a series of fatal attacks, police are giving advice to the public on what to do if people are confronted by a dangerous dog.

The government is looking at ways of banning the so called "XL Bully" breed, because of their involvement in a number of the most serious incidents.

But police and trainers say, any dog can be aggressive.

Sky's Lisa Dowd spent the day learning how to deal with being attacked by a dog.
