Labour's Shadow Transport Secretary Louise Haigh has said "nobody wants strikes during Eurovision to go ahead" as she claimed that no government minister has been facilitating talks for almost four months.

She also said that Richard Sharp should resign as BBC chair if a report finds he acted improperly.
