Defence Secretary Ben Wallace has been pressed to respond to concerns about the RAF aircraft fleet's capabilities, which were reported hours before by Sky News.

Defence sources told Sky News the UK will be left "dangerously exposed" after omitting special forces aircraft that played a key role in Sudan evacuations and transported vital ammunition for Ukraine.
