Mark Regev, senior adviser to Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, has reacted to the International Court of Justice's ruling not to order Israel to end its offensive in Gaza.

But the court demanded that Israel does everything in its power to prevent acts of genocide.

He said: "It was a good thing that Israel's right to defend itself was upheld today by the president of the court."
