Israel vs Hamas war protests: more than 100 protesters were arrested on UCLA's campus early Thursday morning.

California Highway Patrol said 132 protesters were taken into custody after a nine-hour standoff at UCLA with both pro-Palestine and pro-Isreal groups.

Tensions escalated as officers with CHP and the Los Angeles Police Department worked to dismantle barriers.

This takes place as the war in Gaza continues. Hamas is considering a proposal for a ceasefire with Israel. Israeli soldiers say they plan to enter Rafah if a deal is not made.
