In 1985, Robert Ballard located the wreckage of the R.M.S. Titanic more than 70 years after the ship struck an iceberg and sunk to the ocean floor. Ballard joined "CBS Morning News" via telephone on Sept. 2, 1985, to talk about the discovery. National Geographic editor Bill Garrett and Walter Lord, author of “A Night to Remember,” also joined the show.
