Florida: Several injured including children, after shooting at a beach in Hollywood

Six adults and three children have been injured in a shooting at a beach boardwalk in the city of the city of Hollywood in Florida.

Authorities have not yet released the ages of the victims, but police said there would be a heavy presence of officers as the investigation continues.

An altercation between two groups on the beach started the gunfire, local law enforcement said.
