In a video shared by the Associated Press, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was booed at a vigil for the victims of a racist attack by a white gunman at a Dollar General which left three Black people dead in Jacksonville, Florida, last week.

Civil rights leader Bishop William Barber applauded the crowd’s reaction and condemned DeSantis for attacking cultural issues as a distraction for policy failures.
