Five people accused of spying on behalf of Russia have been arrested in the UK under the Official Secrets act.

Of the five, three Bulgarian nationals were charged with possession of false identity documents.

They remain in custody, awaiting an appearance at the Old Bailey, while the Metropolitan Police's Counter Terrorism command carries out an investigation.
