Suella Braverman breached the ministerial code by asking a civil servant to take care of a personal matter, a senior union figure has told Sky News.

Dave Penman, general secretary of the FDA union for senior civil servants, says an investigation into what the Home Secretary asked for and when is the only way to "clear this issue up".
