Drought alert at Bolivia's Lake Titicaca amid warnings 'very low' levels will continue

The National Service of Naval Hydrography declared an alert this week for the iconic lake after its surface fell two centimeters (0.8 inches) below the drought warning stage, or 3,807.8 meters (12492.7 feet) above sea level.
