Donald Trump has been handed criminal charges related to his time in office.

He is running for President again and could spend his election campaign in a very public legal fight.

The man who stood by Trump's side during his administration, Mike Pence, has blamed the former President's "crackpot lawyers," who kept telling him what he wanted to hear.

Sky's US Correspondent James Matthews reports from New Jersey, where the President is currently waiting out the turmoil.
