The former president's private plane - Trump Force One - has screeched onto the tarmac at Washington's Reagan International Airport.

Once he's got off the plane, it's a roughly 15-minute journey to the E. Barrett Prettyman courthouse in the centre of the capital.

The former president is facing his most serious charges so far in what marks the third criminal case brought against him in the past six months.
